Horslyx Pro Digest Balancer is a palatable feed lick which supports the digestive system for optimum health and performance while licking enhances saliva production which helps buffer stomach acidity.

Slippery Elm (Ulmus rubra) and Seaweed Meal (Ascophyllum nodosum) are included in Horslyx Pro Digest Balancer as both contain mucilage. Mucilage is a sticky viscous sap which, when ingested, absorbs water and other gastric liquids, forming a protective layer over mucous membranes and provides a soothing and protective action throughout the digestive tract. Mucilage can be particularly beneficial in horses with inflamed mucous membranes and digestive conditions.

Horslyx Pro Digest Balancer contains a prebiotic yeast extract containing MOS (Mannanoligosaccharides), which helps to flush pathogens out of the gut and Beta-glucans which helps stimulate the growth of beneficial gut bacteria.

Actisaf, a live probiotic yeast, helps provide a buffering action in the hind gut and is included in Horslyx Pro Digest Balancer to help support digestive health andwhich can help to maintain a more stable hindgut pH and therefore help reduce the risk of digestive discomfort.

Horslyx Pro Digest Balancer contains a higher level of Magnesium than other Horslyx Balancers. Lack of Magnesium can contribute towards nervous and excitable behaviour.

All Horslyx Balancers are extremely low in starch, making them suitable for horses which can react unfavourably to traditional cereal based diets.

Hold pot to horse´s mouth, alternatively knock lick out of pot into a bucket.

Pot is not designed to be left unattended with a horse.
