Description

DuraPlex® is a proprietary blend of specific proteins, minerals and vitamins scientifically proven to increase bone mineral density and bone area in both performance and growing horses. Studies at Kentucky Equine Research with exercised Thoroughbreds showed positive changes in bone quality after just one month of supplementation.

DuraPlex® was also shown to prevent the natural demineralization that occurs when access to free-choice exercise is restricted such as when young horses enter a training environment or during stall rest due to injury.

  • Provides the proteins, vitamins and minerals necessary for strong bone development
  • Helps to maintain bone growth and healthy bone metabolism, tissue, and structure in horses involved in all disciplines
  • Supports bone quality of young horses entering training during high-risk transitional and early stages of training
  • Special protein source stimulates bone collagen production while suppressing bone destruction, resulting in an increase in bone density and area
  • Prevents bone loss in situations in which bone naturally demineralizes, such as when limited or no turnout is available including stall rest due to injury
  • Provides specialized postsurgical nutritional support

Composition: dried wheat protein concentrate, calcium carbonate, monosodium phosphate, magnesium oxide.

Additives (per Kg): 3a672a Vitamin A 41666 UI, E671 Vitamin D 33333UI, E6 Zinc chelate of amino acid hydrate 1000 mg, E5 manganese chelate of amino acid hydrate 833 mg, E4 copper chelate of amino acid hydrate 500 mg.

Analytical constituents: crude protein 35%, crude fibre 1%, crude oils&fats 1%, crude ash 45%

Feeding directions:

Top-dress on feed at a rate of 60-120 g per day. For best results, divided equally between meals.

Enclosed scoop equals 30g

Storage: reseal lid during storage. Sore in a cool, dry, odor-free place. Do not exceed 32ºC.
